Isn’t it time to take a trip back to the place where everybody knows your name? Pull up a seat at the bar next to Norm and have a beer or two with the Cheers gang down in Boston. Running for 11 seasons, grabbing 28 Emmys, and spawning an equally successful spin-off series, Cheers has cemented its legacy as one of NBC’s most popular Must See TV comedies.

The legendary series centers on the zany happenings at the Boston hot spot, as well as the personal entanglements of the bar’s employees and its loyal customers. While Sam Malone (Ted Danson) tends bar and flirts with Diane (Shelley Long), his friends and patrons Norm (George Wendt) and Cliff (John Ratzenberger) provide witticisms from the other side of the countertop.

Of course, Cheers also featured additional heavyweights in its cast, like Rhea Pearlman as the feisty waitress Carla, Kelsey Grammer as Frasier, and Woody Harrelson as the dopey backup bartender. Without a doubt, Cheers is a necessary throwback to the good old days of TV sitcoms.
