Probably one of the most underrated and beloved cult series on this list and Amazon Prime Video, Enlightened only lasted for two seasons before getting canceled at HBO. Despite its acclaim by critics and loyal viewers, the show didn’t catch on with the mainstream.

However, that isn’t indicative of its quality in the least. The comedy-drama series employed a fresh premise and point of view for a situational comedy with stakes. Enlightened starred the delightful Laura Dern as Amy Jellicoe, a self-destructive woman who receives holistic therapy treatment following a nervous breakdown at work.
