Based on star and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s one woman play, which was born from a stand-up storytelling challenge, Fleabag finds a complex character floundering through life in modern London armed with anger, sarcasm and an unfiltered self-righteousness fed by grief.

Waller-Bridge stars as the no-holds-barred Fleabag, a character who breaks open a fresh perspective on television and in dark comedy. The titular main character surrounds herself with her family and friends, while getting into comical situations with ex-lovers and silent weekend retreats.

With only six half-hour episodes in the vibrant first season of the Amazon Studios/BBC Three joint venture, Fleabag takes viewers along for Fleabag’s journey to becoming a little less lost and little more found.
