Another short-lived CBS sitcom, Out of Practice centered on a family of doctors who struggled to find common ground in every other aspect of their lives. To the ridicule of his family, Ben Barnes (Christopher Gorham) practices marriage counseling, and it’s ironic considering he couldn’t save his own marriage.

Despite its all-star cast including Modern Family’s Ty Burrell, Paula Marshall, Jennifer Tilly, and legends Stockard Channing and Henry Winkler, Out of Practice couldn’t remain afloat in the ratings. But the sitcom captured a comically dysfunctional family.

Out of Practice shared producers with Frasier, another sitcom about a savage family of professionals. With only a single season of 22 episodes, the mid-aughts sitcom is the perfect addition to any comedy fan’s binge list.
