While many other shows are based on books or movies of the past, Homecoming transformed a podcast into a show. One of the best things was that the creators of the podcast were behind the creation of the show, so we knew we’d get to know the characters we’d already met.

The first season developed a thrilling story with a strong cast. While it was a slow burn, it was a realistic slow burn. There was the chance to connect with the characters and unravel the mystery at the same time.

During the second season, we got to meet new characters. There was a new mystery to unravel. One character crosses over to further build on the mystery of Homecoming, but the first season isn’t fully needed to understand. This does allow new fans to tune in at a later stage.

A strong point of the season is that it’s a quick binge-watch. The episodes last 30 minutes, so it doesn’t take long to find out if this is something for you.
