You’d have likely laughed, but the comedic actor made a major transformation and has brought the role to life. He had some big boots to fill with the movies, too, especially following Harrison Ford!

But he’s managed it. And now Jack Ryan is finally on the list of 50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video. It should have made it to the list with the very first season, which is arguably the best. This wasn’t just the season that introduced us to the characters, but it showed us the terror of refugees from the side of a victim. It gave us a look at the wife of a terrorist scared for herself and her children, something we barely get to see.

Jack Ryan isn’t afraid to push boundaries. And in the middle of the action, it gives us a real story. The series has brought the character and his worldwide adventures to the modern day. Despite the showrunner changes, we can’t wait for the third season!
