The Tick is one of Amazon’s most underrated comedies. It’s one that so few people have heard of but everyone should be watching. Whether you know the comic books, the original series adaptation, or nothing at all, this is a comedy series for you.

It’s set in a world where superheroes and villains are a common part of life. Everyone knows about them and just accepts that they’re real. But that doesn’t mean everyone wants to accept their role in the world. There’s a strict governmental agency designed to regulate heroes and villains.

Amazon took a cautious approach in picking up The Tick. The pilot was released a year before the first half of Season 1. The second half of the season was released six months later. It took more than a year for the second season to be released. Now all eyes are on whether the series will be renewed for a third season.

It’s one of the funniest shows on the service. At no point does the series take itself too seriously, giving us the chance to laugh with it instead of at this. When you just want something to watch to get over a bad day, The Tick is always the place to turn.
