50. Final Life

1 Seasons

Starring Taemin, Shota Matsuda

The international additions to Amazon Prime Video often get overlooked and tend to be underrated. Well, it’s time for one in particular to get the recognition it deserves. Final Life comes from Japan, with 12 episodes to stream in its first season. There may be more to follow.

Korean pop singer Taemin stars with Japanese actor Shota Matsuda in a foreign language thriller. Both come from vastly different backgrounds with their own secrets, but both have to work together to solve a series of mysterious cases as part of a special police unit.

Matsuda is a tough detective on the case. Taemin stars as a young Korean medical student. He’d been in the United States and took part in an experiment that had gone wrong. Now he has no memory of who he is or what he did.

It’s a buddy cop drama with a twist. The two don’t realize that they can team up well until they have to. The question is whether they can help each other with the mysteries and secrest in their lives.

Final Life: Even If You Disappear Tomorrow is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
