If you’re looking for a fun thriller, you’ll want to head to theaters this weekend. Argylle is the movie to check out.

The story follows Elly Conway, a reclusive author who has some of the best espionage novels about a secret agent called Argylle. Everything seems to be fun fiction, but then the events of the spy novels mirror the covert actions of a real spy organization.

As the lines between fiction and reality start to blur, everyone needs to figure out what’s going on. Is Argylle a fictional character, or does Elly know something that she shouldn’t?

Is Argylle on Prime Video?

The movie is going to head to a streaming platform after the theatrical release. Eventually, that could be Prime Video, but it is not going to be the first streaming home.

Argylle is a Universal Pictures movie. The only place that it will stream first is Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming platform. Live-action Universal movies have headed to Prime Video after the initial Peacock release, though.

Is Argylle on Amazon Video?

The good news is that Amazon has another way to watch movies on the platform. You can head to Amazon Instant Video where you can buy or rent the movies. The great news is Argylle will head to Amazon Video in the future.

It’s not clear exactly when that will be, but it will be available. This is separate to Prime Video. When you head to Amazon Instant Video, you’re buying the digital copy of the movie. When you buy it, you will get to keep it for as long as you have your Amazon account. There’s no need for a subscription, and you don’t need to worry about which streaming platform it is going to next.
