When should The First Omen come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Are you ready to delve into the story of the woman who brought about Damien, the Antichrist? That’s what The First Omen looks into, and it’s now out in theaters. Of course, you’ll want to add this prequel story to your DVD collection.
Margaret is on a journey to become a nun. She heads out to Rome to offer her time and serve God, but she soon starts to question her faith. It turns out that the nuns in the convent are conspiring to bring about the Antichrist.
Why would they want to do such a thing? What is going on, and is Margaret in danger? This is not a horror movie to skip over.
The First Omen DVD release date predictions
With the movie only just out in theaters, there isn’t a DVD release date just yet. The good news is we can make a prediction. A lot of production studios and distribution companies follow the same timeline.
The First Omen is a 20th Century Studios movie. We can look at A Haunting in Venice and The Creator to get an idea as to when this movie is likely to come to DVD and Blu-ray. It took both of these movies about two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD, and we’re expecting the same for this horror movie.
That suggests a release date of around Tuesday, June 18. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the planned release date and update when we know exactly when it will arrive.
What about on Digital? This is usually sooner than the DVD release, and for 20th Century, it’s usually about a month earlier. That would suggest The First Omen will come to Digital around Tuesday, May 21. Again, we’ll be sure to keep an eye out on the exact date.
The First Omen is currently out in theaters.
