What to watch on Prime Video this week: Five Nights at Freddy's and more

While it's a quiet week on Prime Video, there are still some great movies to check out. Five Nights at Freddy's is just one release to put on your watchlist.

Some weeks are quieter than others when it comes to Prime Video drops. This is one of those weeks. However, we know that the Amazon streamer is all about quality over quantity.

If you are struggling to find something in your wheelhouse, the first of the month drop was only a few days ago. There are some great movies still to check out, including some of the Bring It On movies, How to Train Your Dragon for the kids, and the classic The Great Escape.

Two of the Divergent movies are also now available, but you may want to wait until a little later this week to watch them. The first one drops on Prime Video on Thursday, March 7.

Five Nights at Freddy’s, Divergent, and more

Okay, the biggest of the releases this week has to be Five Nights at Freddy’s. This highly anticipated video game adaptation did not disappoint. The animatronics were captured so perfectly to really add to the intensity of this release. If you haven’t watched it yet, Tuesday, March 5 is your chance to do so.

Divergent drops on Thursday. This is the first in the trilogy of movies. Annoyingly, the last movie ended in a way to bring a fourth movie, which was then going to be a TV show. Nothing ever happened, and the storyline vastly changed from the books. However, if you want to see how it all plays out, you can stream for free with your Prime membership this week.

How about an Amazon Original Movie? Ricky Stanicky is coming to the streamer. Amazon states Thursday, March 7. This is a good chance to see if the releases are just now officially Thursday nights or if there has been a conscious change and we’ll actually get to watch on Wednesdays. The movie follows three childhood friends who end up using their imaginary best friend from 20 years ago to blame for their immature behavior. When their partners and families demand to meet Ricky Stanicky, the trio will need to figure out a way to manage it.
