You will be able to watch Rescue: Hi-Surf on Amazon but not with Prime Video
There are a few new shows heading to our TV screens this fall, and FOX has one of them. It’s all about Rescue: Hi-Surf, which gets a special premiere tonight, Sunday, Sept. 22. It will then move to Mondays after new episodes of 911: Lone Star.
The series takes us to Hawaii, where a group of lifeguards work together to keep the North Shore of O’ahu safe. They cover the most dangerous stretch of coastline in the world, and that means a lot of adrenaline-filled saves.
Of course, we get the personal drama at the same time. If you’re into the likes of 911: Lone Star and 911, then you’ll definitely want to check out this series.
Here’s how Rescue: Hi-Surf will be available to watch on Amazon
There is some bad news to start this off with. You can’t watch Rescue: Hi-Surf with Prime Video. This is a FOX series, which means it heads to Hulu the day after for streaming. Maybe once the show has finished it will eventually head to Prime Video, but that’s not going to happen for some time.
Instead, you’ll want to turn to Amazon Instant Video. This is where the series will be avialable for purchase on Digital. It’s not available just yet, but that’s because the first episode hasn’t aired yet.
It can take a couple of days for the first episode to become available. After that, new episodes are made available on Digital within 24 hours of them airing. You’ll want to get the season pass for this series. That way, all the episodes are added straight to your Amazon account.
The great thing about buying on Digital via Amazon is that you get to watch the episodes over and over again without paying extra. You’ll keep the episodes for as long as you have your Amazon account.
Rescue: Hi-Surf will air Mondays at 9/8c after the initial premiere tonight, Sunday, Sept. 22.
