Brilliant Minds is NBC's newest medical drama, but how will it be available on Amazon?

Medical dramas remain popular for broadcast networks, so it’s not surprising to hear that NBC has a new one arriving this fall. Brilliant Minds premiered on Monday, Sept. 23, and now eyes are on how to watch it on Amazon.

Zachary Quinto stars as the brilliant Dr. Oliver Wolf. He is an incredibly gifted neuroscientist, who has a unique way of dealing with patients. He wants to change the way the whole world sees patients, but others at his hospital aren’t ready for that.

When he’s dismissed for his unusual methods, he heads to Bronx General. From there, he can lead a bright young team tackling some of the most puzzling psychological cases. The team together will help to challenge the world of medicine, while Wolf also learns to challenge his own ideologies.

Brilliant Minds isn’t on Prime Video, but is on Amazon

Amazon can be a little confusing when it comes to watching shows and movies. There are different ways to watch, and of course, Prime Video is the first consideration. That’s what you pay monthly for, after all.

As Brilliant Minds is an NBC series, it is not heading to Prime Video. It will go to Peacock instead.

It’s the other way of watching on Amazon that you’ll want to take advantage of. This is Amazon Instant Video, where you can buy shows and movies on Digital. Episodes of Brilliant Mind will head to Digital to purchase. It takes a few days for the first episode to drop on Amazon, so it’s not available at the time of publishing this. It should be avaialble tomorrow or Wednesday, Sept. 25.

After this, episodes will be available the day after they air on the network. You’ll want to pay for the full season at once. You will get episodes in your account as soon as they drop, rather than having to look out for whether they’re available yet or not.

Brilliant Minds will air Mondays at 10/9c on NBC, with episodes dropping on Amazon Instant Video on Tuesdays.
