Crowe plays Anthony Miller, an actor who lands a gig on a supernatural horror movie. Everything seems to be going great at first, and then things take some sort of sinister turn. Anthony acts strangely, and everyone needs to figure out what’s going on.

His estranged daughter fears that he has relapsed. However, there is a case that something more supernaturally sinister is going on. After all, there are stories of filmsets being cursed.

The Exorcism won’t head to Prime Video first

There is some bad news to start off this post. The Exorcism won’t head to Prime Video at first after its theatrical run. However, you’ll want to keep your Prime membership, as you’ll be able to watch it with an additional Amazon Channels subscription.

Shudder got the rights to release the movie on streaming first. This is just the first home, so there’s a chance that it could head to Prime Video in the future. For now, we’ll keep an eye out for the Shudder release date, which is likely within a few months, as this is a streamer you can get via Amazon Channels.

The Exorcism will come to Amazon Video

As a theatrically released movie, it will get a digital release at some point. This means that The Exorcism will be available to rent or buy on Amazon Instant Video in the near future.

This one is distributed by Vertical, which doesn’t have a set schedule for releases of the movies. We can see digital releases happen as early as within a month of theatrical releases, but we’ve also seen them take a few months to finally make it.
