Speak No Evil won't be on DVD and Blu-ray in time for Halloween (here's an estimate)

We have an estimated date for the Speak No Evil DVD release. It's not going to be in time for Halloween, but it could make a good Christmas gift for horror fans.

If you’re a James McAvoy fan, you’re sure to be heading out to theaters this weekend. Speak No Evil is now out.

This is based on the 2022 Danish movie of the same name. The ending isn’t going to be as bleak, but that doesn’t mean it won’t leave you with fears of mingling with strangers. The movie follows an American couple who makes friends with a British family while on vacation. The Americans end up going to stay with the British family, only to realize that there is something sinister going on.

Of course, once you’ve seen it in theaters, you’ll want to watch it at home. The bad news is that it won’t come to DVD and Blu-ray in time for Halloween. Here’s when we’re likely to see Speak No Evil on DVD and Blu-ray.

Speak No Evil should come to DVD and Blu-ray in 2024

We don’t have a set DVD release date just yet. That’s not surprising since the movie has only just headed to theaters. However, we can look at releases in the recent past from the same studio, which will give us an idea of when we could expect to see the DVD release.

Speak No Evil is a Universal Pictures movie, so for this, we’re looking at Abigail and The Fall Guy. Both of these movies took around two and a half months to go from theaters to DVD. With that in mind, we’re looking at sometime around the end of November for Speak No Evil, with a suggested release date of Tuesday, Nov. 26. It should be out with time to order it and get it delivered before Christmas.

What about on Digital, though? It only took around three weeks for the previous movies to head to Digital, which means we’ll likely be able to watch Speak No Evil on Digital in time for Halloween. We’re looking at around Tuesday, Oct. 1 or Tuesday, Oct. 8 for this release.
