Everything heading to Prime Video this week (Sept. 2–8)

A new week is starting, and that means you’re ready for more content coming to Prime Video. There has been a bulk drop happening today, Sunday, Sept. 1, but that doesn’t mean it’s all we’re getting. In fact, there are some exciting new additions on the streamer throughout the week.

Of course, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has a new episode coming out on Thursday, Sept. 6. This is the fourth episode of the series, picking up off the back of that three-episode premiere. From this point, we’ll get one episode per week, with the finale airing on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The American Society of Magical Negroes, lots of sports, and more

This week is mostly about the sporting events. They all start on Wednesday, Sept. 5, with a new WNBA game on Prime Video. Wednesdays will be packed with the WNBA throughout September.

You can also check out the NWSL on Thursday, Sept. 6. As we’ve seen throughout the summer, there will be games on Thursdays throughout the month, even when NFL Thursdays kicks off.

If you need boxing, then you’ll want to get Thursday, Sept. 6 in your diary again. ONE Fight Night is presented by ONE 168 with the highly anticipated return to Denver, Colorado. There are two World Championship showdowns happening and you will not want to miss them.

What if you’re looking for something fictional? The American Society of Magical Negroes is something to check out on Prime Video on Tuesday, Sept. 3. This fantasy movie follows Aren who is recruited into a secret society for Black people. And not just any Black people. They are magical people who have one task in life: make the lives of white people easier.
