It’s another quiet week on Prime Video between Monday, April 15 and Sunday, April 21. While it is quiet, though, there is still something to watch.

This is a good week to go back to that first of the month drop. There were some great movies that arrived on April 1. That certainly wasn’t an April Fool’s prank.

If you’re looking for a thriller, The Stepford Wives is a great movie to watch whether you’ve never seen it or watched it a thousand times. For those in the mood for horror, Cloverfield is worth a look. This 2016 thriller is viewed through handheld cameras so you feel like you’re part of the horror.

There are also some great TV shows to check out. I will always rave about Eureka for those who are sci-fi fans. But all eight seasons of House now being on Prime Video makes this a must-watch. Who doesn’t love Hugh Laurie?

What to watch this week on Prime Video

What about the new content this week, though? Going Home with Tyler Cameron is the only new original series dropping. It’s a reality series, making it perfect for those who don’t want to find themselves fixed on another world to build. This is just about homes to build.

Known for being the runner-up in The Bachelorette Season 15, Tyler Cameron has opted not to continue his journey for love on the small screen. Instead, he returned home and followed another dream. He started up a construction and home renovation company. This isn’t easy, and that’s what he learned during the process. We get to catch up with him and see how he’s doing, the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur, and his focus on family and friends.

Of course, you can also watch the National Women’s Soccer tournament on Prime Video again this week. Tune in live for the games on Friday, April 19.

Things to look forward to next week

We’ll take some time to preview a few things to arrive the next week. The big release on the list is THEM: The Scare. This is the second season of the horror anthology from Little Marvin. This season is set in the 1990s in LA, but it follows much of the same themes as the first season. You think home is the safest place, but what happens when it’s not?

The end of the month will also see the movie The Holdovers drop on Prime Video. This is a great one for the fans of feel-good movies. It follows an instructor at a New England prep school who is left to babysit a handful of students during Christmas break. This is not the way he planned on spending that time, but maybe it’s just what he, the students, and the school’s head cook need to find a new perspective on life.
