Most read Amazon books last week: The Women climbs as expected

One thing we expected to see as The Women by Kristin Hannah joined the list of most read Amazon books was for it to climb toward the top of the list. That is happening right now.

The novel moved up another three places on the list. This still isn’t the top spot as it is on the list of most sold lists, but it is in a respectable third place. It wasn’t the only mover up the list so high up, either. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas gained another spot to get into second place.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros continues to hold the top spot for now. It’s possible that Hannah’s novel will take over this week.

The Teacher down, Dune reenters

With A Court of Thorns and Roses moving up, it means that something in the Top 3 was knocked out. That was House of Flame and Shadow, also by Sarah J. Maas. That was a large drop, with the book losing seven places on the list, just holding onto a place in the Top 10.

The Teacher by Freida McFadden also dropped down the list, although only by one place. This isn’t surprising. While McFadden’s books are popular, they are quick reads. That’s just how compelling her writing is.

Dune by Frank Herbert reentered the list of most read Amazon books. Again, this is not that surprising. The second part of the movie adaptation came out on Friday, March 1. Of course, there are plenty of people now reading the book again to see the changes and to see how well the adaptation is done.

There is a notable drop off the list. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling was knocked off the list with all the other changes happening. That’s the second of the Harry Potter books off this list.
