A new week begins, and it means we’re taking a look at the list of most read Amazon books from last week. Are you reading the same books as everyone else?

Sarah J. Maas has become one of the must-read authors recently. That’s all thanks to BookTok, as more and more people share their love for A Court of Thorns and Roses. That’s not the only series of Maas’s that has gained in popularity.

House of Earth and Blood saw the biggest move up the list. It gained 10 spots, getting into the Top 10 for the first time.

A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes down, Lessons in Chemistry up

A lot of the books on the list remained steady, but there was a surprising mover up the list. Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus gained a spot to get into ninth place. The Apple series has come to an end, and this usually means the books the shows are based on fall off the list of most read Amazon books. That’s not the case here, and BookTok may have something to do with that.

There are a lot of TikToks about the most popular TikTok books of 2023. Lessons in Chemistry is on there. Anyone who missed the novel may have ended up checking it out now.

There was a big mover down the list. As mentioned, the books that shows and movies are based on usually start falling off the list when shows end or movies have been out for a while. So, it’s not that surprising to see The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins drop down the list. It lost 10 spaces, just keeping hold of a place on the list.
