As we start another year, we want to see the types of books people are reading. Are we reading the same things as everyone else? The most read Amazon books list is a great way to see if our interests align with others and gives us some new ideas to try now and then.

There was only one new addition to the list of books. This is a bit of a surprise considering it is after Christmas, but it could be one of those Christmas money purchases in the sales. That was The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score.

Other than that, the change was mostly books among themselves. Here’s a look at the most notable movers before getting into the full list.

A Court of Thorns and Roses series up, Lessons in Chemistry down

Let’s start with a relatively unsurprising but notable move. Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus dropped a spot. That’s not too surprising with the Apple TV+ series now at an end. We’ll probably start seeing it drop further and further down the list over the next couple of weeks from now.

The ACOTAR books by Sarah J. Maas gained places on the list. This is a series that has gained popularity again thanks to BookTok. Fans also want to know more about the Hulu series that is in development. It seems to be stuck in development hell right now, though.

The first book in the series, A Court of Thorns and Roses, gained two spots. The second book, A Court of Mist and Fury, gained three books to get into the Top 10. A Court of Wings and Ruin isn’t that far behind. It gained a spot to get into 14th place.
