Who are the most hated characters on The Boys?

There are some characters on The Boys who are the obvious villains of the story. We just have to look at Homelander and Stormfront. However, while these two characters are villains and we hate them, we love to hate them.

Some villains are well written. They are given backstories that allow us to understand who they are and the world they grew up in. However, there are other characters who are just created to be disliked. We don’t care for their backstories, or we just don’t care about them to why they do what they do.

Here are nine most detestable characters on The Boys.

Ryan

Okay, I know a lot of people are going to come at me. Ryan has some issues because of the way he was brought up. However, the end of The Boys Season 3 cemented things for me.

Ryan has seen what Homelander has done. Maybe not fully with his own eyes, but he knows that Homelander is a bad guy. And yet, when it came to making a choice between Homelander and Butcher, he picked his biological father.

He shows no signs of believing that Homelander is wrong. He has power and he wants to use that power. I just get the feeing with his trauma and his upbringing, he’s not going to see that he is in the wrong.
