Longlegs is one of those DVD releases that surprised many. After seeing it in theaters, you likely knew that this was a must-have on DVD and Blu-ray. The good news is the release date is just around the corner.

Set in a desolate town, Longlegs follows FBI Agent Lee Harker, who is assigned a case that involves an unsolved string of murders by a serial killer. Things take a turn when it looks like this serial killer is delving into the occult. Nobody is safe, and Harker learns that there maybe a personal connection. That could be an advantage to stop the serial killer before he strikes again.

Nicolas Cage plays the role of the serial killer, which should mean that this is yet another hilariously bad movie. It actually turned out to be a fun jaunt into the world of crime and horror.

Longlegs DVD and Blu-ray release date

You can get Longlegs on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Yes, the release is later this month. We didn’t predict this release, so we can’t say if we’re close to our predictions or not.

This is a movie that you’ll want to pre-order. The end of the month is packed with some big releases, and you’re sure to forget a few of them. Amazon makes it easy for all to pre-order their movies, and you can pre-order Longlegs with the Amazon Price Guarantee. This ensures that you get the lowest price up to the release date, regardless of the price you agree to pay now.

Don’t want to wait until the end of the month? You can already buy or rent the movie via Digital. At this point, I would recommend waiting, though. You’ll get a combo pack, which means you’ll get the Digital release along with the Blu-ray for the single price, saving you plenty of money.
