ABC is finally bringing its scripted dramas back. Tonight sees the return of The Good Doctor. There is some bittersweet news about this show, though. Season 7 is going to be the last.

The Good Doctor Season 7 picks up off the back of the sixth season finale. Lea had baby Steve, and now Shaun and Lea need to settle into some sort of routine. They debate over the idea of a routine for Steve. Shaun loves his routines, but Lea isn’t as strict about them. They’ll need to find a balance as parents.

You will want to watch all the episodes as they air. The Good Doctor Season 7 will air on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Will there be a way to stream them on Amazon afterward?

The Good Doctor Season 7 will not come to Prime Video for free

We’ll get the bad news out of the way first. The Good Doctor is an ABC series, so it is not going to head to Prime Video the day after. This is not the show’s streaming home.

Instead, the series will head to Hulu. While I’m not in the habit of saving “never,” I will say it’s unlikely that we’ll see Prime Video get episodes for free. Disney owns both ABC and Hulu and has no reason to share.

The Good Doctor Season 7 will come to Amazon Instant Video

Amazon has another way to watch shows online. You can buy episodes on Digital, and broadcast shows tend to release their shows on Digital straight away. That’s definitely the case for The Good Doctor.

Episodes will air on Amazon without 24 hours of airing on ABC. You’ll be able to buy the episodes individually or you can get the full season at once. When you get the full season, episodes will be added automatically to your Amazon Library as soon as they’re available.
