Horizon: An American Saga won't come to Prime Video, but will come to Amazon Channels
Fans of Westerns will want to head to theaters. Kevin Costner stars in Horizon: An American Saga.
This movie is set before, during, and after the Civil War, covering 15 years in total. It’s a chance to look at how the American West expanded during that time period, setting the stones on what the country is like today.
This is just the first chapter of the story. There will be a second chapter released later this summer, and then there will be two more chapters to further the stories.
Where will Horizon: An American Saga stream after theaters?
You won’t be able to watch the movie on Prime Video straight after its theatrical release. That doesn’t mean you’ll want to get rid of your Prime membership, though. The great thing about this movie is that it will head to one of the Amazon Channels subscriptions.
This is a Warner Bros. movie, which means that it’s heading to Max after its theatrical run. It won’t necessarily stay there forever, but it will remain for a decent amount of time, and you can now get Max via Amazon Channels. It could head to Prime Video in the future, though.
Horizon: An American Saga will also be available via Amazon Video
There is a way to watch movies on Amazon without a subscription. It’s all about buying and renting movies on Amazon Instant Video. When you buy them, you can watch them over and over again for as long as you have your regular Amazon account. No Prime membership required.
Horizon: An American Saga will head to Digital in the future. This is usually within a couple of months of the theatrical releases. Warner Bros. knows that Digital and DVD releases are the way the company makes the most money, so it won’t likely skip over this release.
