High Potential won't come to Prime Video (but here's how you'll be able to watch it on Amazon)

If you’re in the mood for something quirky this fall, you’ll want to turn to ABC. There’s a new series called High Potential.

Based on the French series, the show follows Morgan, a single mom who is a cleaner at a police precinct. When she knocks over a box of files while cleaning, she proves what she can do. Her IQ is so high that she’s able to see things that others can’t.

As she puts the evidence back together, she realizes that the suspect is actually a victim. That means the cops will need to search for someone else. They will need Morgan’s help if they want to get to the bottom of the case.

High Potential won’t come to Prime Video

As much as we would love to watch the series on Prime Video, that’s not going to be possible. This is an ABC series, and that network is owned by Disney. Of course, Disney has its own streaming platforms, including Hulu. All shows that air on ABC head to Hulu the day after.

There’s no need for Disney and Amazon to share content. We don’t see High Potential heading to Prime Video any time soon. This doesn’t mean it never will, but it’s highly unlikely.

How to watch High Potential on Amazon

There will be a way to watch via Amazon, though. It’s all about Amazon Instant Video, which is where the releases on Digital are put.

One of the great things about broadcast shows is that they head to Digital right away. You can buy the episodes one by one, or you can opt to buy the whole season at once and risk if it’s a hit or miss. When you buy the full season, you’re usually going to pay less than if you got individual episodes. Since High Potential is a new series, I’d recommend buying the first episode on its own to see how it is and then look at the full season.

It can take a couple of days for High Potential to show up on digital retailers. Once the first episode is out, the rest will be released within 24 hours of release date on ABC.
