We have a good idea on when Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will come to DVD and Blu-ray

There is a new Ghostbusters movie out, and you’re heading to the theaters for it. After that, you’ll want to add it to your DVD collection. Now you need to know when that will be possible.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire picks off with the Spengler family heading to New York City. They’re setting up their HQ in the firehouse that the original team of ghostbusters were in during the older movies. And yes, there are a few cameos from the original group once more.

This is not a movie you’ll want to skip in theaters. Then you’ll need to add it to your current DVD collection. After all, you have Afterlife and all the previous instalments, right?

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is likely to come to DVD in June 2024

While there isn’t a DVD release date for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire just yet, we can make a prediction for it. We just need to look at other movies from the same production studio. For this release, we’re looking at the Sony movies No Hard Feelings and Madame Web.

No Hard Feelings only took two months to go from theaters to DVD. Madame Web is taking two and a half months. We’re likely to see Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire follow the Spider-Man-verse movie. After all, it’s another 2024 movie and it is sure to perform well in theaters. There are plenty of people interested in this release.

With that in mind, we’re looking at a potential release date being Tuesday, June 4.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire could come to Digital next month

Want it earlier than that? We’re looking at the release on Digital, then. Madame Web only took a month to go from theaters to Digital. It could suggest a Digital release date as early as Tuesday, April 23.

If this movie follows No Hard Feelings, we could have to wait a couple of weeks extra, though. This could push the release into May. It’s something we’ll keep an eye on.
