It’s almost time to add the final season of Fear the Walking Dead to your DVD and Blu-ray collection. The release is officially set for Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Of course, one of the big questions for those looking to get the DVD is about what’s included. We all want to know the bonus features. It seems like a lot of shows are skipping over the bonus features now.
Skipping over bonus features is disappointing, but it comes down to cost. The cost of creating the features is an add-on to the cost of creating the show. Plus, not every director wants to add to run tape. We’re not back in the days of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Supernatural when the outtakes were some of the best moments to see the actors on set.

The final season picks up seven years after Morgan and Madison attempted to rescue Mo from PADRE. It didn’t work, and now the people on the island have to live under PADRE’s tyrannical rule. There is still that promise of a better world out there, and they believe that eight-year-old Mo could be the key to that.
Bonus features on Fear the Walking Dead Final Season DVD and Blu-ray
You’ll get the code for the digital copy of all the episodes on both the DVD and Blu-ray. Sadly, there aren’t bonus features such as outtakes or deleted scenes.
The only bonus features are audio commentaries of the episode. This is a great way to get more of an understanding of directorial decisions and character mindsets, but it’s not as great as the bonus features used to be for TV shows.
