Can you believe we’re closing in on the end of winter? It feels like 2024 is already going by so quickly, but that’s a good thing when it comes to the DVD and Digital releases this week.
Digital doesn’t have as much as DVD in terms of releases, but there are some movies to certainly look out for. Poor Things stars Emma Stone as a young woman who is brought back to life by an unorthodox scientist. She decides to run away with a questionable lawyer, free from the expectations of society. At the same time, she figures out what she wants to do with her new-found life.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Anyone But You, and more
If you’re in the mood for a DC movie, there’s great news. You can add Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to your DVD collection this week. This picks up off the back of the first movie, with Aquaman forced to turn to his brother in an attempt to protect Atlantis from a threat once more.
Prefer a rom-com? How about one starring Sydney Sweeney? Anyone But You is coming to DVD this week. This one follows a couple who initially hit it off but realize that they’re not right for each other. When they both end up at a destination wedding in Australia, they decide to do the mature thing and make people think they’re a couple. Yes, this was originally set for a Tuesday, Feb. 27 DVD release date but was pushed back a couple of weeks for an unknown and undeclared reason.
For those looking for something for the kids, there’s some exciting news. Wish is coming to DVD and Blu-ray. You will not want to miss this latest animated movie, which follows Asha who proves that wishing on a star may be far more powerful than you imagined.
