A new week is there. That means more DVD and Digital releases. This week, it’s also a new month, and July is starting off quiet.

Most of the releases are on Digital. At least, that’s what is confirmed at the time of writing this. There is only one DVD release, and that’s one for the dramedy fans out there.

The Watchers, Housekeeping for Beginners, and more

The biggest Digital release of the week is The Watchers. The horror movie only just recently came out in theaters, but you’ll be able to watch it at home on Tuesday, July 2. There are some twists and turns as you would expect from any Shyamalan movie, even if this one isn’t M. Night Shyamalan.

If you’re more in the mood for a rom-com, well, there are a few Christmas movies heading to Digital. You know Christmas in July is a big thing, so this isn’t surprising.

One of the releases is The Secret Gift of Christmas. It follows Bonnie, a personal shopper who ends up with a new client in the form of Patrick. Patrick is a widow trying to reconnect with his young daughter, and Bonnie decides that she wants to help with that by making sure his daughter gets everything on her wish list.

Heaven Down There is another one to look out for. This follows a group of four desperate people stranded in a local diner on Christmas Eve in a snowstorm. The four have nothing in common, but maybe they have the answers to their individual problems.

The only DVD release is Housekeeping for Beginners. This is a comedy-drama movie that follows Dita, a woman who finds herself as a mother. She never wanted to be a mother, but when she falls for her girlfriend, she has to make a choice. Her girlfriend has two children, and Dita realizes that she loves her girlfriend more than a child-free existence.
