Despicable Me 4 among the Digital and DVD releases happening this week (Aug. 6)

There is no doubt that the kids are ready to see Despicable Me 4 at home. The good news is that it’s one of the Digital releases happening this week, Tuesday, Aug. 6. Here’s a look at all the DVD and Digital releases happening.

Despicable Me 4 is the biggest of the releases. It’s another movie in a popular franchise aimed at the whole family. Whether you love the Minions or you want to see how Gru’s relationship with his adopted daughters grows, you’ll want to check out the fourth installment.

It is only on Digital as of right now. The DVD release date is not confirmed as of yet. We’ll keep an eye out.

The Mouse Trap, Johnny Puff, and more

Another release on Digital to look out for this week is horror-comedy fans out there. You love Mickey Mouse, but what about a horror that involves the beloved Disney character? The Mouse Trap sees that happen with a serial killer dressed as the cartoon character.

The Mouse Trap follows Alex, who is stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift for her 21st birthday. Her friends decide to surprise her, but that surprise gets deadly when a serial killer turns up with a game of his own.

As for DVD releases, there is one for the kids. Johnny Depp voices Johnny Puff in Johnny Puff: Secret Mission. This is a fun animated movie that follows Johnny and his friends as they go on a mission to save Taigasville. Otto von Walrus is a villainous engineer who wants to destroy the place.

For those looking for a comedy more for the adults, Babes is the movie to get on DVD and Blu-ray this week. A single woman turns to her married best friend when she finds out that she’s pregnant after a one-night stand. The two women work together to get through pregnancy and motherhood. It really does take a village.
