What to buy on Digital and DVD this week (Jan. 9, 2024)

Are you ready to add some new movies to your DVD collection? How about buying on Digital? There are some great releases coming on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.

This is one of the quieter weeks of the month. It’s likely to be one of the quieter weeks of the year. There were some big releases in November and December in theaters, but they’re not likely to come to Digital and DVD until later in the winter or in early spring.

So, what do we have? Well, some releases are coming to both Digital and DVD at the same time. Others are coming to one or the other.

Far Heaven, They Turned Us Into Killers, and more

Two of the releases coming to both DVD and Digital are Far Heaven and They Turned Us Into Killers.

The first is a Western. Set in 1887, Hunter Braddock returns to Far Heaven, Arizona after serving two years in Uma Territorial Prison. He was wrongfully accused, and now he needs to figure out a way to get back to his normal life with his children. When his father-in-law is brutally attacked by a raiding party, Hunter decides to take it law and order into his own hands.

As the title They Turned Us Into Killers sounds, this one is a horror and thriller. It follows Karma, who is assaulted and drugged by her boyfriend. Just before she takes her own life, she tells her best friend Star about everything in a letter. Star decides to hunt down the boyfriend and his brothers to torture them. They will hear Karma’s letter before they die.
