Bosch: Legacy ending after three seasons (here's when it will arrive on Prime Video)

There’s some bittersweet news for Bosch fans. The spin-off series Bosch: Legacy is coming to an end.

Michael Connelly revealed on Facebook that Bosch: Legacy Season 3 will be the show’s last. It sounds like this was a combined decision to end the series, with Connelly saying that it is the “best” season and a fitting end.

It marks 10 seasons of Titus Welliver playing Harry Bosch, but Connelly makes it clear that this probably isn’t the last we’ve seen of the character.

When will Bosch: Legacy Season 3 premiere?

We now have a six-month wait for the final season to head to Prime Video. It will arrive in March 2025.

Previous seasons of this and the OG series have been released in bulk, so we’re expecting the same type of release for Bosch: Legacy Season 3.

It’s not the last of the Bosch universe

Bosch: Legacy Season 3 may be the last, but it is not the end of the universe as a while. Connelly also shared that the Renee Ballard series is currently in production. Fans will remember that the spin-off series was ordered, and it will arrive on Prime Video.

This is where Connelly says that we haven’t seen the last of Harry Bosch. After all, he does show up in other books, and with the universe still growing, there is the door open for the character to return in a storyline. This will depend on schedules, but Welliver is sure to be happy to turn back up after more than a decade of playing the role.

This does sound like an ending to one chapter of the franchise. The original Bosch came to an end because both Amazon and the creators decided it was time to close one chapter and start another. It looks like something similar is going on here.
