7 best couples in Amazon shows and movies to root for this Valentine's Day
Rose and Abe in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
As much as I love the way things ended for Midge and Joel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, they’re not the couples goals. Rose and Abe are. I know at first you won’t think that, but take a look at things that happened throughout the five seasons.
Abe takes Rose for granted, for sure. He is a man of his time, though. He has certain expectations, and Rose would have been fine with that had she not seen that the times were changing and there could be something more for her. As soon as she realizes that Abe sees what he lost. He and Rose take a turn for the better once he convinces Rose to come back to him. They’re able to support each other, because, in the end, they really do love one another. They just show it in their own quirky ways.
Reacher and Kayla in Reacher
Okay, so they’re not technically a couple. They have feelings for each other and they act on those feelings in Reacher Season 2, but they’re not a couple. I am cheating, because they’re not #couplegoals. They are, however, a couple that you find yourself rooting for throughout the season.
One of the best things about them is that they respect each other’s boundaries. They know when each other needs something, and they will look out for each other and push one another to do something better for themselves. Reacher made sure Kayla had her own company while Kayla encouraged Reacher to do something more with his money than buy a toothbrush. They also both could admit that what they have is good but not long-term.
