Are you ready for a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and cheer with joy? Want a great underdog tale that is full of comedic moments and heartfelt scenes? Troop Zero is a must-watch.
Originally released at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, Amazon jumped at the chance to stream it, knowing that it was one for all. However, it would be January 2020 that it would finally be released on Prime. That puts it on our list.
Troop Zero is a heartfelt story about a young girl with a dream. While the dream may sound absolutely crazy for the rural south in the 1970s (even for now), it’s a dream that she’s going to fight to achieve. And she has a great group of people around her to help.
Within the story is one of discrimination against race, gender, and more. It’s one of privilege and stereotype conformity—and those who refuse to conform to be who they want.
Now is your chance to check out this excellent movie. You’re not going to regret it.
