Lighting the match that ignited one of Hollywood’s most exciting big-screen trilogies, Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven remake burst onto the scene with a sizable gross and rave reviews. Surely, we have all seen each of the films, if not have heard about them enough to feel like we were a part of Danny Ocean’s team.

After he’s sprung from the slammer, Danny Ocean (George Clooney) throws together a crew of capers and con artists to pull off a hefty heist in Las Vegas. The cast also includes megawatt movie stars Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle among a whole heap of recognizable co-stars.

Ocean’s Eleven brought a welcome dose of comedy to the heist genre and defined the early 2000s with its all-star cast. And now is definitely a good time to give the original Ocean’s trilogy a rewatch. In summer 2018, Ocean’s 8 and its cast of badass women (Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, and Anne Hathaway to name a few) will take the reins from Danny’s squad.
