The Purge: Election Year is the third film of the Purge film franchise with Universal Pictures. There will definitely be more Purge movies coming in the next few years. The third film was also the highest grossing film of the franchise so far.

In the film, Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), a senator running for office, is trying to shut down the Purge and do away with it for good. Here political opponents try to kill Roan during the Purge because of her opposition.
