The latest movie in the Star Trek movie franchise is one of the biggest summer blockbusters of the year. Star Trek Beyond is the 13th movie overall and the third in the J.J. Abrams reboot that stars Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Commandeer Spock.

Also reprising their roles from the reboot are Simon Pegg, who wrote the screenplay with Doug Jung, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, and Anton Yelchin in one of the last performances of his life that was tragically cut short. He died a month before the film’s release due to an auto accident on his property.

New to the reboot for this movie is Idris Elba who plays  Krall/Captain Balthazar Edison, who is a former commander of the USS Franklin who mutated into a powerful alien. You’re going to love the action scenes and visual effects.
