Captain Fantastic stars Viggo Mortensen as Ben Cash, a devoted father of six children living in the Pacific Northwest where his family is living off the grid. Ben doesn’t believe in a traditional lifestyle so his kids have lived a sheltered life, but their life is thrown into chaos when their mother Leslie is hospitalized for bipolar disorder.

When a tragedy takes place, Ben has to reevaluate his parenting style when his father-in-law wants to take custody of the children and raise them in his house. Ben objects, naturally, but after seeing the danger he puts his kids in he relents and allows his kids to stay with their grandfather if they allow it.

If you’re a fan of Mortensen, you’re really going to enjoy Captain Fantastic.
