With The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes out in theaters, it shouldn’t be surprising that the book moved up the list of most sold Amazon books.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes continues to perform well in theaters. Fans of The Hunger Games continue to talk about this movie (and book) and compare it to the original series. So, it’s not that surprising to see the book by Suzanne Collins move up the list of most sold books on Amazon again.

It moved up into second place. While Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros continues to hold the top spot, the sequel Iron Flame moved down into third place.

The Hunger Games among five new books on the list

What is surprising is that The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins entered the list for the first time last week. It’s not that it entered—as it’s not surprising people want to read or reread the books that bring us an older President Snow. It’s more the fact that it hasn’t been on the list before.

It entered in 11th place, and is just one of five new books on the list. All the other books entered in the Top 10.

Her Deadly Game by Robert Dugoni was just above The Hunger Games in 10th place. Meanwhile, The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis, He Who Fights with Monsters 10 by Shirtaloon and Travis Deverell, and He’s Not My Type by Meghan Quinn entered in 4th, 5th, and 6th place respectively.

There were also some big movers, with The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride moving back up the list. It gained nine spots to get into 7th place. No Brainer by Jeff Kinney and Defiant by Brandon Sanderson lost two places each, but hold onto Top 15 spots.
