The first week of December has started off with the Top 5 remaining steady in the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the full list.

Once again, Iron Flame and Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros continue to hold onto the top two spots of the list of most read Amazon books. That’s not too surprising when you consider how popular they are on BookTok!

On top of that, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins continues to hold the third spot. In a way, this is surprising. While the movie is still out in theaters, we usually see people switch out the books for other releases the longer a movie has been out in theaters. It’s clear that The Hunger Games is still a popular franchise.

Two Harry Potter books continue to hold steady to make up the rest of the Top 5. It’s from this point that there were changes to the list.

He Who Fights with Monsters enters, other books mixed

There was one new addition to the list of most read books on Amazon. He Who Fights with Monsters 10 by Shirtaloon and Travis Deverell entered in sixth place. We’re expecting to see this book drop off the list quickly as other releases have done in the past.

It did mean that a few books were knocked down a spot. The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling all dropped a spot but hold onto places in the Top 10.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling gained a spot to get into the Top 10. So, which books dropped out completely? They were The Exchange by John Grisham and Resurrection Walk by Michael Connelly.
