If you’re in the mood for a psychological thriller, you’ll want to see Eileen in theaters right now. Where will it stream afterward?

There are some great movies out in theaters this weekend. One of them is a twisty psychological thriller set in 1960s Boston. Thomasin McKenzie stars as the titular character, and you’ll certainly be left with questions at the end.

It follows a woman who regularly fantasizes about killing her father and herself. She works at a teenage boy correctional facility, where she is shunned by her coworkers. What happens when she starts to have feelings for one of the guards?

The big question for fans right now, though, is where it will stream afterward. Is this a movie that will head to Prime Video? Will there be any way to watch it on Prime Video?

Is Eileen on Prime Video?

It looks like this will be a movie that heads to Prime Video in the near future. Focus Features is one of the distributing studios, and many of the movies from this studio have ended up on Prime Video as the first streaming home. The bad news is that this is outside of the U.S.

NEON has the rights for the U.S. distribution. This studio doesn’t have a set contract with any streaming platform, but Prime Video is a popular one for it. This is certainly something we’ll keep an eye on.

What about a digital release? We do know that this movie will come out on Digital, but we don’t yet have a date. The good news is that this means it will come to Amazon Instant Video to buy or to rent.
