Role Play release date, trailer, and everything we know so far

Every couple has their differences. They also have their secrets. Some secrets are deadlier than others, as Role Play makes it clear.

How much do you actually know your significant other? Most people will they say know everything about their partners. There are a few secrets here and there, but usually nothing that’s going to lead to a major international threat on their families.

Well, Role Play takes the secrets and the titular theme to a whole new level. If you love True Lies, then you’ll want to check out this comedic version of the story. The new Amazon Original Movie isn’t coming out until the start of 2024, but it’s something to put on your radar right now.

Role Play release date

The new Kaley Cuoco movie will come to Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 12, 2024.

It is an Amazon Original movie, which means that it is exclusive to the streaming platform.

Role Play cast

The new movie will see Kaley Cuoco take on the role of another woman changing her identity. This isn’t like Flight Attendant though, where she finds herself in the middle of a mystery as an innocent bystander. Instead, she is a contract killer called Emma—or Alice to her husband.

David Oyelowo takes on the role of her husband, David, who learns the truth about her identity thanks to the cops. Rather than turn his wife in, he decides to join her on a mission. That’s not going to cause problems at all, is it?

Then there’s Bill Nighy, who plays Bob. That’s all we know about his name, and it looks like from the trailer that he knows Emma and is out to kill her.
