DVD releases happening this week: Oppenheimer and more

Another Tuesday is on its way, and that means more DVD releases are happening. Tuesday, Nov. 21 sees the release of Oppenheimer and more.

On the face of it, it is a quiet week in terms of DVD releases. Tuesday, Nov. 21 sees just five titles heading to DVD and Blu-ray. However, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad week.

Oppenheimer is the biggest release of the week. Cillian Murphy takes on the role of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who led the Manhatten Project. He helped create the atomic bomb, which would later lead to the destruction of two Japanese cities.

This movie gives us a look at Oppenheimer’s early life, his brilliant mind, and his steps to take to try to prevent the bomb being used seeing the damage that it would do.

Saw X, The White Lotus Season 2, and more

If you are in the mood for horror, you’ll be happy to hear that the 10th installment in the Saw movies is coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week. Saw X tells the story of John Kramer between the first two movies.

We see him head to Mexico, where he undergoes a trial for his cancer. However, he finds out that the trial was all a shame, and now he decides that he needs to get revenge against those who created the trial.

For those who loved The White Lotus Season 1, you’ll be happy to hear that the second season is available on DVD and Blu-ray this week. This season takes place in Italy and follows a few newer characters.

Of course, Jennifer Coolidge is back for the season. What is her fate? I’ll leave you to watch the DVD if you missed it on Max.
