When should Trolls Band Together come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Trolls Band Together is the movie all parents are taking their kids to see this weekend. When should you be able to own it on DVD and Blu-ray?

The third Trolls movie is now out in theaters. There is no doubt that you will be taking your kids to see it. To be honest, this is one for the ’90s kids, too. NSYNC is reuniting for the movie!

We get to learn a little more about Branch’s past in the movie. It turns out that he was part of Poppy’s favorite boyband, along with his four brothers. When one of his brothers is kidnapped, he needs to get together with the rest of them to save Floyd from a fate that’s worse than pop culture obscurity.

Of course, once you’ve seen it in theaters, the kids will want to watch it at home. That means finding out when the Universal Pictures movie will come to DVD and Blu-ray. There isn’t a set date just yet, but we’re looking at when the release should happen.

Trolls Band Together DVD release date predictions

We need to look at other Universal Pictures movies to figure out a potential date. For the sake of this, we are looking at The Super Mario Bros. Movie as the other animated release of the year. We’re also looking at Oppenheimer, which has been one of the bigger releases for the studio this year (for some very good reasons).

It took about two months for The Super Mario Bros. Movie to head to DVD after the theatrical release. Oppenheimer took a lot longer, with it being four months from the theatrical release. The latter is likely an exception to the norm. We’re probably looking at something similar to the animated movie for Trolls 3.

With that in mind, we’re looking at around Tuesday, Jan. 16, or Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.
