When should The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes be on DVD and Blu-ray?

The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes is the Hunger Games prequel we’ve patiently waited for. When will it come to DVD and Blu-ray?

You’ve read the prequel novel. Now it’s time to see how it all plays out on the big screen. The Hunger Games: The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes is one of the biggest releases of the month.

Of course, you’ll want to see it in the way that the studios envisioned. You’ll also want to add it to your current collection of Hunger Games movies. Now you just need to know when this prequel story will be available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray.

We don’t have an exact date yet. We can work out when it should arrive based on the releases of other movies from the same studio. This is a Lionsgate movie, so we’re looking at those movies this year.

The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes DVD release date prediction

We’re looking at John Wick: Chapter 4 and Saw X to get an idea as to when The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes will come to DVD and Blu-ray. These are two other big Lionsgate releases, after all.

It took a little more than two months for the latest John Wick installment, but it’s taking just two months for Saw X. We’re probably looking at something more like the latter for this release. While the Hunger Games franchise is big, there’s a chance that the strike action recently has caused problems for people realizing that some movies are coming out. Just look at the lack of promotion for The Marvels and what it did to that opening weekend.

So, we’re looking at around Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024 for this movie to come to DVD and Blu-ray. We may get the digital release before Christmas with the way Saw X was released.
