Will The Crown Season 6 come to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s not too often, but the odd Netflix show does head to DVD and Blu-ray. As the sixth season of The Crown premieres on the streamer, you’ll want to know if this is something you can watch at home without the subscription. You’ll want to know if it could come to DVD and Blu-ray.

This is where we have some excellent news. The Crown Season 6 will head to DVD. We’ve seen all previous seasons of the series get this sort of release, so you’ll be able to watch it all at home.

When should The Crown Season 6 be released on DVD?

So, now the question is when you’ll be able to add it to your collection. If you want to watch the series right now, you’ll need your Netflix subscription. The show remains exclusive to the streamer for some time.

It’s also a little harder to determine when this season will come to DVD compared to previous seasons. This one is the first to be released in two parts, with the second part of the season coming on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Usually, we would say the season would arrive a year after the release on Netflix, which could mean November 2024. With the split parts, we could see a delay to December 2024. This will be a good sense for any future shows that are released in two parts and come to DVD. Season 5 was released a month earlier, but we don’t se that happening for the final season.

It’s something we’ll be sure to keep an eye on. It would be great to see a full series release for those who didn’t get previous seasons on DVD.
