It’s not often that there’s one new addition to the list of most read Amazon books. Last week saw the addition of two new titles.

When we come to the most read books on Amazon list, we usually find that the books are moving between themselves. There may be one new addition now and then, but it’s rare for two new additions to hit the list.

There was also a notable mover that we need to get into first. John Grisham’s The Exchanged moved up nine spots to land in second place last week. That knocked The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese down a spot, while Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros unsurprisingly held the top spot after the news that it is being adapted into a TV series.

Two new additions to the list

The two new additions to the list of most read Amazon books were toward the bottom of the list. The Spy Coast by Tess Gerritsen entered in 17th place. This was one of the new books on the most sold list recently, so the addition isn’t that surprising.

The Secret by Andrew and Lee Child entered in 18th place. This is a new Jack Reacher book and with how popular the Amazon series is, it shouldn’t be surprising that it’s on the list. It’s just that it’s rare that we see two new additions to this list in one week.

The A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas remains pretty steady on the list. While the first novel held 14th place, the second novel, A Court of Mist and Fury, gained two spots. A Court of Wings and Ruin, the third book in the series, gained one spot, just narrowly missing out on a Top 15 place.
