The first four episodes of Invincible Season 2 begin this week. Is this a show to watch with the kids around, or should you wait for them to sleep?

We have waited a long time for Invincible Season 2. Naturally, you want to check out the entire season as soon as possible. It makes it harder knowing that there are only four episodes coming out this year. The season is being split in two.

Each episode is to drop at midnight UK time on Fridays. That usually means a Thursday evening drop in North America. The problem is that is means the kids are likely to be up when the episodes arrive. Is this something to watch around them?

Invincible season 2, Part 1 age rating

This is an animated series. That would suggest that it’s for children, right? Sadly, not. Invincible Season 2, Part 1’s age rating is officially set at TV-MA. This means that it’s not suitable for children under 18.

Of course, you will have your own ideas based on your children’s maturity levels. You may think that your 16- or 17-year-old is old enough for this series, but not your preteen. It’s going to be up to you when it comes to watching content in your own house. If you are in doubt of the individual episodes, it could be worth waiting until after the kids have gone to bed to get the first watch and then watch with them later if you think it’s suitable for them.

It’s worth watching the first season again to get an idea of the gore and violence that is included in this series. That’s what really ups the show to a TV-MA rating. If you think your children can watch the first season, then they’re sure to enjoy the second.
