Most read Amazon books last week: Lessons in Chemistry moves up

It isn’t surprising to see Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus move up the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the full list.

With Lessons in Chemistry now at the halfway point on Apple TV+, it’s not surprising to see it move further up the list of most read Amazon books. Of course fans of the show want to check out the book now, and there are going to be some rereading the book along with watching the show to see how the adaptation has been done.

Something that was a surprise was that there were two new additions to the list. Usually, we only see one, but it is fun to see change to this list.

John Grisham and Elsie Silver enter

The Exchange by John Grisham was the highest of the two new additions to the list. It entered in 11th place, just narrowly missing out on the Top 10. There is time for it to move up, though.

Hopeless by Elsie Silver was the other new addition. The novel entered in 18th place, but will it stay on the list this week? We don’t tend to see romance novels remain on the list for too long. It seems to be the fantasy or dramatic books.

Speaking of fantasy, Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros remained at the top of the list. The latest news makes this unsurprising. Amazon MGM Studios is developing a series based on the YA fantasy novel, which has been made popular thanks to TikTok. We also saw the A Court of Thorns and Roses series remain on the list.
