When will Five Nights at Freddy’s come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Five Nights at Freddy’s is currently out in theaters, but you’ll be able to add it to your DVD collection soon. When will that be possible?
You loved the videogames, and now it’s time to check out the movie. Five Nights at Freddy’s is currently out in theaters. It follows a similar storyline with Mike Schmidt getting a job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria only to find out that those who stay after midnight end up dead by the animatronic mascots.
Mike will need to figure out a way to survive. At the same time, he’ll need to make sure people believe what he’s seeing, and that may be harder than to actually just surviving.
Of course, you want to watch this movie at home. That means knowing when it will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray.
When will Five Nights at Freddy’s come to DVD?
The movie doesn’t yet have a DVD release date. That’s not too surprising when you consider it is only just out in theaters. We’ll need to look at other movies from the same production studio to get an idea of the release schedule.
This is a Universal Pictures movie, so we’re looking at Knock at the Cabin and Fast X to get an idea for this one. This is just a rough guide, though.
The two movies took about three months (or just short of it) to go from theaters to DVD and Blu-ray. We’re likely looking at the same for Five Nights at Freddy’s. That’s especially when we consider how well Fast X performed in theaters and how quickly it went to DVD and Blu-ray. So, with that in mind, we’re looking at around Tuesday, Jan. 23 or Tuesday, Jan. 30 as a DVD release date.
What about on Digital? This is a quicker way to get it at home in most cases. It only took about three weeks for the other movies to head from theaters to Digital, so we could see Five Nights at Freddy’s head to Digital before the end of November.
